Summer activities in the Hochkönig region

In the warm season you can experience nature with all your senses while hiking, climbing, mountain biking and e-biking. You can downhill with your mountain bike on the flow trail at Natrun or slide in the world‘s first forest slide park. Unique in summer are the sporting highlights in Maria Alm.

The HochkönigMan – a breath-taking trail running event – opens the sporty summer, followed by Hundstoa biag di – the toughest mountain bike uphill race in the Pinzgau – and the Jakobiranggeln on the Hundsstein. With its 2,117 m, the Hundstein is the highest grassy mountain in Europe that is accessible by mountain bike. Experience sport and tradition in the pilgrimage and holiday resort Maria Alm.
